I was extremely bored over the summer and my friend and I went to Borders to hang out. I saw the book Twilight and I told my friend "HEY this is a book about vampires and stuff...I saw a teacher at the school I used to work at reading it and she said it was pretty good" so we both read the back of the book and the first chapter (there at borders) and were instantly hooked. We both bought the book and read it, like in, 2 days. We then couldn't stop!!! I went ahead and bought the the next two and my friend could only afford the next one (New Moon). We both finished New Moon very fast and since she couldn't afford the next book she would go to Borders from the morning until the evening trying to finish Eclipse. It was ridiculous we were and ARE so obsessed. We could have conversations for hours about this trilogy. We EVEN went to the Breaking Dawn Party (the 4th and last book of the series) to get our copy of the book!!! And that same night I stayed up till about 4am reading......We also went to the midnight Showing of the movie TWILIGHT (which we've seen about 4 times) :-)
See, people might judge us...but its OK we are perfectly fine with that...because we are enjoying our obsession and cant wait for the Film of New Moon to come out!!!!
So for those who judge....DONT JUDGE JUST READ AND JOIN IN ON THE FUN!!!
Don't worry...ABSOLUTELY no judgment! I read them ALL myself within a one month time span all in the Barnes and Noble in Chino Hills while I was France-sick, heart-broken, and desperate to go into another world.
ReplyDeleteI am now waiting for an Edward, but I kind of know that love story is too good to be true. that is why the books are so addictive; we all hope to have a Bella and Edward love story but there are so few of us that will actually attain this in our life time. They are the "twin flame" kind of soul mates. I DO believe that since there are many, many lives and infinite universes, that I may find my "twin flame" in another life. =)
